There are lots of options out there for edibles that contain CBD. But not all edibles are equal and I think I’ve found some edible products that stand out against the competition. Whenever I shop for CBD I try and find products that will abosrb in my mouth. Almost all edibles I’ve been seeing are designed to absorb into your body after it passes through your stomach. But then I found CBDEssence.com.
CBD Essence has taken a novel approach to edibles. Their CBD infused taffy is designed to rapidly release CBD while you chew it. Just take a few minutes to chew the taffy. Reputable suppliers
As you shop for CBD, don’t just look at the products, pay attention to the business that selling it. Some vendors are better than others. See what kind of support they have. How much information do they make available to their customers. If you get the sense that they aren’t very forth coming about something, then keep shopping around. There are lots of vendors to choose from.
Minimum Quantities
When you buy a product for the first time, I’d recommend buying the smallest quantity possible. You’ll want to make sure the product works for you. Most vendors won’t allow you to return the product if it’s been opened.
If you pay for a lot of product and then don’t like it, you’ll probably be stuck with it. So just buy/pay the least amount possible the first time to make sure you like it. Then if you find you really like it, buy more the next time. Almost all sites offer pretty significant discounts when you start increasing the volume of product you purchase.
Full spectrum CBD oil
Most people are going to want to buy a product that contains full spectrum CBD oil. “Full Spectrum” means it will have other cannabinoids besides CBD along with terpenes. These work on conjunction with CBD to promote several health benefits and overall health.
THC content
The only reason you may not want a full spectrum CBD product is if you’re looking for a CBD isolate because you’re extremely concerned about any amount of THC getting into your system. This may apply to anyone who is subjected to enhanced sensitivity drug testing due to employment, college or professional athletes, etc.
In general though, CBD from hemp has extrememly low (<0.3%) levels of THC. This is way below the level needed to produce any sort of high and is extremely unlikely to produce a positive result from the typical urine drug test that most drug-free workplaces subject their employees to.
If you must…
If gummy bears are really what your after, that’s fine with me. I’m not really trying to discourage you from going with the bears. I’ve made my case for why I think the CBD Essence taffy is a superior product, but some people are just used to gummy bears and don’t mind waiting an hour or two for the CBD to kick in. If that’s you, there are some good options out there. Here are a few we’ve seen that may be good options for you.
Medix CBD: These gummy’s are packed with 10 mg of CBD in each gummy. They are reasonably priced at $14.99 for a 15 pack which is a pretty good price to make it easy to try these out. And third party test results show they are extremely low in THC. All the results I could find on their site showed that THC wasn’t even detected in their product. They have some other fun shapes as well if you get tired of the bears.
Hemp Bombs: Hemp Bombs is one of the best known retailers on the internet for CBD products. They absolutely carry a high quality gummy bear product with 15 mg of CBD per bear. Lots of customer reviews are very positive for this product. These are priced at $14.99 for a 5 pack of bears. That price is a little high in my opinion. It comes out to 3x the price/bear compared to Medix. They do deliver 50% more CBD/bear but you’d actually come out way ahead if you just took one and a half of the Medix gummies. Hemp Bombs is a well known brand though and lots of people use them.
